FAQs / Know Before You Go

 

What time does the walk begin?
Check-in opens at 8 AM and the walk begins at 9 AM, at Future Nissan of Roseville.

Can I bring my dog to the event?

We all love our furry friends; however, we are requesting you keep your dog at home this day due to everyone’s safety.

Is tobacco allowed?

No tobacco products are allowed during the event, including vaping pens. All American Cancer Society events are tobacco free.

Are food and beverages allowed?

Yes, food and beverages are allowed. Please bring your own pre-filled water bottle for the route to stay hydrated during the 5K. Please use our provided disposal receptacles for your trash or recycling.

What should I wear?

There is never too much pink at Making Strides! Since this is a family-friendly invite please refrain from any inappropriate verbiage on your attire at the event. Comfortable shoes for walking are always a must.

Are scooters or bikes allowed?

No scooters, bikes, roller blades or skateboards are permitted. Strollers and wagons for your kids are welcome though.

Where is the best location to park?

Parking in the Roseville Automall will be limited, so we ask that you please park across the street from the main entrance on Sunrise. Please be respectful of those businesses’ parking lots and only park your vehicle there for the duration of the event. If you have someone dropping you off or take a rideshare, you may be dropped off at Future Nissan of Roseville – 600 Automall Drive.

 Is registration for the walk required?

No, registration is not required and this is a FREE event welcome to all.
